An Uprising Sneakerhead
Life of a sneaker-head is quite difficult yet can be rewarding. Join me as I go through this blog and discover my journey on becoming a sneaker-head!
Hi! My name is Ezekiel Ugto, a senior high student with the passion of building my collection of sneakers. We all know the struggle of maintaining a budget for our necessities in our everyday life, but sometimes, there will always be a problem when it comes to spending our money on the things that goes in our line of interest!
I started collecting shoes when I was in grade 5. Those were the days that I struggled on choosing what type of shoe I was interested on due to the lack of knowledge that I have on the different varieties of sneakers.

Doing collections is like a non-stop dialogue

I see sneakers as a representation of who you are. It shows your interests on colors, designs, build, and your overall fashion ideas. Sneakers isn’t just a footwear, its an art-piece that can show flexibility when it comes to defining your own taste.
Building my collection wasn’t easy, because of the price-points of sneakers nowadays, they are getting expensive as time goes by. I’m not saying that it should always be like that, there are quality-made sneakers that are on a budget price-point where you can start building your collection. Think of it as a foundation of your sneaker empire.
As the years go by, I started getting information’s that would widen my perspective on the different varieties of sneakers. I later on discovered my taste and focused on what I really want rather than following popular and mainstream sneakers. I would be lying if I denied that I don’t buy shoes that are trendy but there are still shoes out there that has a good quality and design!
For example, this is my Yeezy V2 Lundmark that is popular nowadays. Its expensive but still I have no regrets on buying this shoe.

For me, shoes doesn’t need to be expensive, cheap, original or fake, as long as you enjoy collecting them and maintain that passion for sneakers, you’ll end up creating a strong connection to other sneaker-heads like me! Just keep on building that sneaker empire and eventually you will learn how to maintain a specific hobby that could go on a long run!
That concludes my blog but it doesn’t mean that I’ll end my sneaker empire there! As moana says, “If I go there’s just no telling how far I’ll go” meaning that I would keep on collecting more sneakers as I grow up and never stop my passion for this. Who knows how far I’ll go?
